Come On Sadie by Stone Nobles
Rhode Island rock n’ rollers, Stone Nobles, dropped their newest groove and guitar infused single, “Come On Sadie”, last Friday and it is guaranteed to get your head banging and your hips moving. They combine a hard rocking sound reminiscent of the 80’s with the unbounding and wild feeling of love at first sight that will get you thinking about calling up your “Sadie”.
We have all been there. You fell hard and fast for someone, and you cannot really explain it. In singer Ross Magliocco’s words, that is who Sadie is. Sadie is not a specific girl, but rather the embodiment of what it is like to be head-over-heels for someone and the rush of emotions that come with it. The song opens with the line “Sadie walks into a room and steals a glance from everyone she passes”, and it is immediately apparent who this girl is. She is the “It Girl” that you are so hung up on that your head spins.
Sonically, “Come On Sadie” is one of Stone Nobles best. It hooks you immediately with the opening riff and keeps you coming back for more. This song is easy to put on repeat. Lead vocalist, Ross Magliocco, and lead guitarist, Lance Steele, split the vocal performance on this track. Their voices, coupled with Steele’s dynamic solo and the explosive drumming of Brody Silver make this song hard to forget. In a lot of ways this song is just like Sadie. It hooks you from the jump and gets stuck in your head – kind of like love at first sight.
If you are looking for your new favorite new school rock band, look no further than Stone Nobles. As they tear up New England and keep the spirit of hard and heavy rock n’ roll alive, they are sure to win you over with their unmatched charisma and fiery passion for making hard-hitting, head-banging, and most importantly, face-melting, rock n’ roll.
